A benchmark Sauvignon Blanc from William Fevre's latest project in Chile, this amazing summer white has a bright nose of citrus fruits and white flowers, leading to a mineral driven palate with soft undertones. The volcanic soils in the vineyard add to the minerality, while fermentation in 100% stainless steel contributes to a very juicy palate. For comparison sake, WFC is less grassy and herbal than a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with more peaches and citrus flavors than a rich Sauvignon Blanc from Napa Valley. Chilled down, this is a perfect summer sipper for under $10 a bottle!
"Exciting project from French winemaker William Fevre, WFC comes from estate vines in Malleco. Fresh, flavorful, and elegant: peaches & lemons with a low alcohol, racy style that you’d see in a favorite Sancerre. Best buy for $10!" The Wine Buyer, 92 Points
