This is Pé Tinto, from Herdade do Esporão. A blend of Moreto (a grape that was almost extinct and was recovered in the region by the Estate), Castelão - the famous Periquita -, and Trincadeira. In color, its color is a vibrant ruby, which already shows a little of all its joviality. It exudes intoxicating aromas of wild red fruits, such as blackberries, strawberries, raspberries and cherries, with herbaceous touches. On the palate it is elegant, fresh and with great structure. It delivers full, vibrant and excellent quality fruit, with a medium to light body, great acidity, texture and fine tannins. A delight that pairs well with pizzas, tabouleh with kafta, eggplant in the oven, lasagna and grilled fish.
