Another terrific white is the 2015 Cotes du Rhone Blanc, a cuvee that continues to over-deliver in just about every vintage. Tasting like a top-flight Condrieu with its tangerine, honey and floral aromas and flavors, it s pure, elegant and impeccably balanced on the palate.
Pristine green apple, lemon and lime are gilded with honeycomb in this medium-to-full-bodied white. Expansive and weighty on the palate, it finises long on a twist of bitter lime pith. Drink now through 2020.
Ripe, with a rounded edge to the white ginger, yellow apple and white peach flavors that glide through a verbena-accented finish. Shows a little more weight than the typical white Cotes du Rhone, and still stays fresh. Drink now. 10,000 cases imported. -JM
