With vineyards planted only ten years ago, Garzon has picked up numerous Wine Spectator Top 100s and was voted New World Winery of the Year by the Wine Enthusiast (2018), when they attracted top talent Alberto Antonini, one of the worlds great Italian winemakers. Founder Alejandro Bulgheroni who also has vineyards in Napa Valley, utilizes big name consultants like Philippe Melka and Michel Rolland. If you've never enjoyed an Albarino before, you're in for a real treat as you're immediately met by aromas of freshly sliced lemon and white flowers matched by the fruit intensity reminiscent of a Loire Valley Chenin Blanc. Like a great Vouvray, these wines have a ton of personality and can only get more interesting with a little age.
"Subtle aromas of green mangoes and lemon rind with some minerals and blossom honey. Medium- to full-bodied with a tight center palate and a creamy texture that runs long and true. Lemon and melon in the finish." James Suckling, 92 Points
"A vibrant white, with aromas and flavors of orange blossoms, key lime, grapefruit and Asian pear, plus a nice saline and slate edge before lingering on the refreshing finish." The Wine Spectator, 91 Points
